A Strange Fourth of July accident, that leaves an innocent man dead. In the book, Swallowing Stones by Joyce McDonald writes a drama filled story that will leave you breathless. 15-year-old Jenna Ward, whose father is struck by a bullet, and Michael MacKenzie, the 17-year-old who unknowingly fires the deadly shot. The unfortunate witnesses Joe Sadowski, Michael’s loyal buddy and Amy Ruggiero, a loyal, sweetheart with a bad reputation. Jenna Ward is having a very hard time believing that her father is dead, she starts having anxiety attacks. Michael’s MacKenzie is having a hard time dealing with all this guilt. They are both confused and scared. Watch how they both start understanding they have to swallow the stone.
